No one has any doubt that Israel has nuclear and thermonuclear capability. It need not test a bomb to prove it. What Israel has to do is to simply declare that it will never use its nuclear capability in an offensive mode; not even on Iran. The goal should be to make it clear that anyone who attacks Israel is dead meat and that includes Iran. That was the original purpose of Israel''snuclear weapon development and it continues. That success was France's great gift to Israel. Israel should remind the world that it has no designs on territory and will not attack anyone with nuclear weapons except in a defensive mode. I think Iran is fooling no one. It will move to assuage concern about its nuclear weapon program, but it will not end. The sanctions program is hurting badly and it needs some temporary relief so the program will go underground so to speak. Human life on earth is not certain. It no doubt will end with a natural big bang before another 100,000 years go by. Let us make sure it is not a nuclear big bang. Humans no doubt will have colonies on other planets. Let us focus on making our time on Earth as pleasant and nuclear-free as possible.
