I hope for the best possible outcome for Israel. I won't pretend to know what course of action will achieve that. But regarding Turkey, Israel did the right thing by not apologizing, and Turkey was in the wrong for even requesting it. Regarding Egypt, Israel has done the right things again; Israel was defending against a horrifying terrorist attack and was doing its best (and Egypt should see that). Regarding the PA, Israel has done the right things again by rejecting Fatah's reconciliation with Hamas and rejecting the Palestinians' unilateral UN bid. So Israel should be commended and the difficulty in relations with Turkey, Egypt and the PA are not its fault.
