We all know this visit is symbolic. Assad wants Israel to see how important peace is with Syria. you give Syria the Golan and you dismantle the alliance between Iran, Syria, Hizbullah, and Hamas. Yes, you will lose few kilometers of land, but the gain justefies it all. Syria will be a partner, Hizbullah a political party only, Hamas much weaker, and Iran so distant. Can you imagine no threats on Israel's borders; that is called heaven on earth. few kilometers of what is rightfuly Syria's.
