    Israel has always preferred that America do the heavy lifting for Israel's defense. We saw the IDF land, sea and air units, get embarrassed by Hizbollah during the 2006 war. Until Israel is able to cope with a primatively armed militia camping on their doorstep, they should not try to fly thousands of miles over hostie territory to attack a nation that may have some anti-aircraft weaponry.
