wishing to live and not have their children maimed and killed; and non-Jews are treated much, much, much, better than non Muslims in almost all Islamic countries. Israel isn't perfect but much, much better than virtually the entire Arab world. Israel withdrew voluntarily from many of the properties it occupied, including most recently a completely voluntary widrawel from Gaza. Its reward was suicide bombings and thousands of rockets. The West Bank was occupied illegaly by Jordan. After attacking Israel, unsuccessfully, Jordan abandoned the West Bank and Israel occupied it lawfully in an act of defensive occupation. Even if the West Bank were a national territory, which it is not, Israel would not be required to withdraw until those that attacked her renounced violence, renounced their goal of terminating Israel and negotiated a peaceful settlement. This includes Hamas. One cannot avoid one's international responsibilities by splitting in two, with one element being willing to meet those responsibilities and the other not. Israel will not achieve peace until the Pals really want peace. You right, maybe never.
