We saw this in the 2006 war. Israel focused all their military might on Hizbollah and south Lebanon. They were rebuffed by Hizbollah, achieving nothing, leaving Hizbollah stronger than ever and with increased political clout. If Israel cannot defeat Hizbollah who sits on Israel's own doorstep, how can they engage in an extremely complicated mission against a much stronger opponent than Hizbollah? Personally I would like to see an Israeli mission against Iran since it would be a humiliation for Israel. This is exactly what's needed.
