You are wrong when you say that Israel must accept responsibility for causing the Palestinian refugee problem. It did not and therefore shouldn't accept responsibility,. It always amazes me how Palestinians refuse to consider the context of the refugee problem and the 1948 war. Palestinian Arab leadership in 1947 rejected the Un partition plan and instead launched a war throughout mandatory Palestine against the Jewish population, killing hundreds of Jews. That leadership called on neighboring Arab states to invade Palestine to prevent Israel's birth. Israel fought for its existence and won the 1948 War of Independence. By rejecting compromise and fighting to destroy Israel with help from the neighboring Arab states, the Palestinian Arab leadership deserves the blame for all that ensued, including the displacement of Palestinian refugees. That's where the true blame lies; not with Israel.

Why Britain’s Labour Party has suddenly become synonymous with anti-Semitism

When senior party members spout vile anti-Jewish theories and at the same time insist they are in no way anti-Semites, they truly believe they are not lying.
