Well, there was that intended Palestinian State in 1948. That one would have been largely in territory that Israel seized for herself. Israel was one of the triumvirate of states that tried to unseat Nasser in 1956. Of course, the US was on the wrong side back then, so that came to nothing. Most of the habitable land in what was Jordan is now occupied by Israel. Israel definitely did a number on the nascent Palestinian state in 2001. Israel did state its intention to 'set back Lebanon twenty years' a year ago. They certainly tried, too. How successful they were, I don't know. Of course, all this pales next to Iran's record of international aggression. All her neighbors have felt the Persian hammer repeatedly. Not to mention, there's no comparing the nuclear threat Israel possesses to that of Iran.
