Israel's whole policy has been to sabotage any peace agreement, any palestinian State. Since the palestinians gained their legitimacy thanks to Arafat's work, Israel has no choice but to grab as much as possible land until they are stopped. Isn't that what Sharon claimed ? didn't he say Olso was dead ? Before that time Israel could do whatever they wanted without being even bothered : land grab, expropriations, daily harassment, assassinations, deportations etc today's a bit more difficult. Why would Israel even care about the palestinians ? israelis have taught all their lives the land of a desert, they florished it, arabs are dangereous, they are the victims and all the blabla that comes with it. Israel has no scrupules. It's all bargaining and manipulation. If israel could get rid of the 5 million palestinians, it would ! palestinians are denied their rights, their existence, their State, their Capital. Israel is a shameful State.

Not a migrant, not an immigrant – there has to be a third option, but he doesn't know how to say it in English, Arabic or Hebrew.

How the bagel went from shtetls to haute cuisine

A visit to the world's bagel capital is a chance to marvel at how this unassuming Jewish-Ashkenazi food has come from its 17th-century beginnings.
