Mr Ari Shavit, your first paragraph of the list of things that Israel should do is simply too overwhelming for Israel. Israel is not even capable of stopping the expansion of Jewish settlements in Occupied Territories which the world deems illegal, let alone dismantling or even stopping the construction. I have a better idea: just get out of the West Bank including East Jerusalem, dismantle all Jewish settlements there and let the Palestinians build their state there. I mean really get out, with no ridiculous strings attached. I am sure if Israel does all those things, not just the Arab countries but virtually all the Muslim countries will be lining up to have diplomatic links with Israel now that the 60-year old Israel-Palestinian conflict is finally laid to rest Iran will be tamed after that. In an nutshell: forget all the things that you prescribe for Israel to do if there is no solution to the basic Israel-Palestinian problem
