If what Mr. PM says is correct and Israel is an island of stability (and I would have to take his word for it as I am sure that I wouldn't personally be welcomed to visit Israel to find out for myself), then the democracy that Israel has must have fostered it and allowed this stability to flourish. Why not want the same things for the Egyptians who have suffered under the tyrannical leaders since the tyrannical British left them to their own demise? What are you afraid of? You have the nukes, the most modern army in the region and probably could defeat all the Arabs in six days again if you had to (I hope I am not giving your radicals any ideas here). wouldn't it be better, more righteous and more true to the ideals of peace and justice (and the island of stability) to be behind the protesters and those seeking personal freedoms and a stake in their political future, and not the dictator, even in the unlikely scenario that Mullahs will be taking over Egypt? I think so! Israel must begin to act in accordance with norms of humanity, righteousness and the religion it so covets. I hope you are listening because there is God and you will have to answer if you forget.
