Last I heard, there was a cease-fire being observed by both sides. So what's with assassinating members of a government of a non-belligerent neighbouring state and boasting about it on the airwaves? Israel has ceased to observe the rule of law, whether civil, criminal or military. It behaves exactly like Syria and Hezbollah, whichever assassinated Hariri to get rid of a political opponent. The tag that he or she was a 'terrorist' just doesn't wash, if they were, you arrest them, put them on trial and prove it. The logical response is the assassination of a member of the Israeli government, on the grounds that they are illegal occupiers, racists, land thieves and the rest. Israel is so far beyond the pale in this, it is frightening, the original rogue state that admits to no laws and no due process and thinks that state murder is OK. This is how Ceausescu behaved and countless other dictators, they generally end up with a bullet between the temples. Israel needs a wake-up call.
