Obviously nobody should be firing missiles at Israeli civilians but I'm curious about the legal status of Israel's seige. I guess it's under no obligation to open its land border to Gaza, but the sea and air blockade, and the closure of the border with Egypt by Israel's ally there, all produce a seige situation which causes substantial hardship to Gaza civilians. Israel declared the closure of the Red Sea in 1967 as a an act of war. Isn't the air and sea blockade of Gaza a lot worse, because Gaza, unlike Israel then, has no other means of bringing in supplies?
