Is Segev having a senior?s moment? Neither his argument nor syntax nor reasoning add up. Firstly, it is unclear which 'meaningless' war he refers to. Secondly, he deprecates both the IDF spokewoman and Condoleeza Rice. Not a gendered position I?m sure. But then, he announces that the government of Israel has adopted the moral values of Hezb Allah. Hmm. Next he speaks for all the people of Israel who, he claims, view Qana primarily as a media disaster. Tom Segev is not only Patronizing and Pompous but also Piss-weak (the 3 Ps)in supporting his ?theory?. But in case you forgave this faltering intellect, Segev slaps you with the coup de grace: middle-east wisdom emanates from Europe. Is Segev sagging under the strain of selective sensory input? Europe is virulently anti semitic. European politics have been hijacked by an increasingly important muslim minority voting block. This is what Europe undertsands. That's all. Segev probably even gets paid for this rubbish
