One cannot help but being astonished upon reading what Nassrallah has to say, and watching BBC with its so-called Spcial analysis, and try to make sense to all of it. On one hand the content of Nasrallah interview give an edge to Peretz and Olmert higher standing than what it has been so far in the Israeli street. Furthermore there are already rumbling, though very faint, against Hizballah and Nasrallah himself: why has he brought such a disaster upon Lebanon. They don't appreciate even the fact that Hizballah with Nasrallah are high in the Arab-Muslim esteem. It will not pay for rent past the US$122000. The most surprising is the fact that the interview was not on Al Manar TV system, but on the National. Is there something to read in the tea leaves. Or is Nasrallah sending some messsage when he reinforce the fact that the Israelis are going back to the North and that the Israeli government is rebuilding. THus, Nasrallah concludes Israel is not showing any sign of a "Second Round": well is a message or just an observation. At any rate, eat your heart Gideon Levy, it looks like the war is justified and that the "Deterrence element is back". Are you reading it differently?!
