So the Library in claiming that the secretary is ignoring the Max Brod's intent as expressed in his will. Of course, Brod himself was supposed to destroy the manuscripts. In what sense was Brod the legal owner of material which the owner-creator gave him under the understanding that he would destroy it? And isn't it fitting that his wishes have been ignored?
