Ireland is a very different situation than the Israeli one. It is gross over simplification to assert that because a strategy worked in Ireland, it will also work in Israel. It is similar to the poor comparisons between Israel and S. Africa or Israel and the Afro-Americans. These are all different problems and therefore require different solutions. Israel's situation is very complex and no overnight band-aid fix will work. The peace created between Israeli Arabs and Israeli Jews would be a better template. I think a key ingredient of that is education. If you let the Jihadists teach the kids, you will raise more Jihadists.
