I lived with a guy who's family was Iranian during my first university degree. He was rich, not observant, didn't really care much for school, but very intelligent. He started a grow-op under our stairs. You should have seen the effort he put into that dark space to make it an efficient green house. It was quite amusing. We had our differences and I comfronted him on one occasion when he had some friends over. They were all wasted and I had to sleep for classes the next day. I would have torn them apart that night and he knew it. In the end, I found him quite respectible of my concerns. But, if I were going to live with the guy again some serious rules would have to be in place and frankly I doubt he could live by them - the guy I knew then that is. So, he has his place and I have mine.
