although not a fan of iran bashing, i disagree with your assertions. Iranian revolution of 1979 had similar undertones and many factions participated in the revolution. Khomeini did not so much lead the revolution as seize it, then eliminating rival revolutionary factions like the leftist secular Toudeh... The real question today is will the Muslim brotherhood follow in the footsteps of iran or will it help shape a better more just democracy for egyptians. At least the MB have a 1979 blueprint of how ''not'' to do it.
