The US is engaged in two wars on Irans border. The net effect is bankrupting the US (bin Laden's stated goal 10 years ago), killed 1,000 of Americans, and destabilizing the region. The kicker is that it is all to the benefit of the US and Israel's arch-enemy, Iran. Where do Iraqi politician go after their election? Who just went to Kabul and met Karzai in a pre-announced meeting (hint: he didn't fly in and out under cover of darkness)? Most of the activities of the US and Israel are benefiting the Iranians or hurting themselves (sanctions hurt businesses in the West). Will more wars help? Can the US afford it? Why not give peace a chance???
