There was a time not all that long ago that all of what you suggested was discussed as realistic in the near future. If Oslo had gone forth there would be a Palestinian State today and Israel's relations with her neighbors would have improved. Who knows what could be if the radical Islamists had not gone to war against the West and Fatah had not opened up the current intifada against Israel. Hope is a strange thing in the ME. It's too painful to have hopes consistantly dashed by violence of the worst kind so everyone has become hopeless including me. I still have a glimmer because of my nature but it's sinking fast with every new round of terrorist attacks, kassams and heads of state calling for Israel's destruction.
