Iran and Syria apparently do not regard widespread domestic poverty, systematic injustice and inequality between adherents of different religious traditions at home as sufficiently important and challenging to busy them. It would be well, then, to give them yet more at home to keep them entertained. Destruction of their domestic weapons caches and weapons-manufacturing capacities might make for a nice start. EU, US, will you please afford them this diversion?
