It is unacceptable for a leader (Iranian President Amadnutjob) of a sovereign nation to threaten to wipe countries off the map, and to question the annihilation of 40% of the Jewish population of Europe. Iran's lunatic govt cannot be allowed to continue its nuclear weapons program. A nuclear war in the Middle East would have dire consequences for much of the planet. The IAEA and the international community failed miserably in failing to stop North Korea from developing nuclear weapons. we are currently following the same path with regards to Iran. from the standpoint of US domestic public opinion, the best course of action would be for Israel to begin the destruction of Iran's nuclear sites, and for the Israelis to announce very publicly why they are doing this. Many Americans, who in general are favorably disposed towards Israel, and who do not wish to see another Holocaust occur, will understand and will back the US military in continuing the job of wrecking Iran's nuke program
