Rise in troop deployment in the West Bank and large number of detainees since the wave of terror erupted two months ago could explain the surge, IDF says; army general raises issue during talk with soldiers.17:36 01.12.15 | 2 comments
Gates and Obama are not thinking clearly. Sanctions might induce Iran to end its program to build a nuclear bomb, but then again Iran may decide having the bomb is so important it will tough out the sanctions. the fact that the sanctions seem to be hurting is not much of an argument. Once Iran has the bomb there is no going back, too late! Moreover at that point military action would be needed anyway. It is too risky to let them have a bomb, not only for Israel but for potential terrorism in the U.S. On the other hand military action such as bombing oil fields and nuclear reactors would almost certainly guarantee that Iran does not produce a bomb.
