Jake, Obviously you have not followed Middle East history. for over 10 years there was a bitter war between Iran and Iraq killing thousands. Iran was the agressor. Iraq fought back with shock troops and chemical weapons. Know your history before making ignorant posts. The destruction of Saddam Hussein by G. Bush allowed Iran to move ahead unopposed and widen its influence and control, including that of Iraq....so in the end, G. Bush's adventure in Iraq, gave control of the country to Iran.
