Israel will be ill advised to attack Iran irrespective of whether Iran develops nuclear weapons; it is not in Iran's interest to do so. Who would benefit by a nuclear exchange? The question Israel is facing is the loss of its military superiority in the ME----if tensions continue, over time such a development is inevitable. What Israel has to take into consideration is that the occupation of Palestine beyond the green line is an albatross around its neck. The world is tired of Israel's unending violations of international law and its oppression of another people. History has demonstrated time and again that oppression, exploitation, enriching oneself at the expense of others, always leads to grief in one form or another for the oppressor. Israel has to get over its victimization complex.
