The sad part of this is that Netanyahu is just not up to the job of peace-making. He chose such morons for his cabinet - Yishai, Lieberman, etal. Once again he makes clear his weakness to maintaining his position no matter what. The Gulf states as well as the Arab League have made gestures to thaw relations with Israel and he has spit in their faces as well as in the face of the President of the United States. No, Netanyahu is not up to the task and Obama has every reason to be tough with him. Obama is not anti-Israel or an anti-Semite as any person with half a brain knows. He truly wants to forward a peace agenda and Netanyahu is making that all but impossible. Unfortunately the Israeli people are not standing up and demanding change so what are we to do? I imagine the US and Europe will simply walk away sometime soon and wait for a better Israel to spring up from the Likud mess.
