    Anyone remembering the months before the U.S. strike against Iraq in 2003? At the time, toppling Saddam Hussein was considered (by the Bush Administration) to be just a minor step before taking on the real enemy, i.e. Iran. So, Iraq was attacked, on false grounds (there were no WMDs), but since the task proved to be much more difficult than expected, the Iran Project was shelved, for the time being. As the Obama Administration gradually has changed to a Bush.2 version, the time is perhaps now considered right to get going on the main enemy, Iran. The remaining decision to be taken probably is whether the job will be executed as a joint U.S./Israeli operation, or assaigned to either party alone. Surely, Israel would gladly have the U.S. doing the job. Telling signs: The U.S. decision to end the Iraq adventure already on the coming New Year, thereby having troops and matériel at hand for a new campaign, and the recent IAEA report, providing casus belli. The exposed, weird Ababsiar plot is extra bonus here. So, if you live in the Middle East, take cover after January 1, 2012.
