As Iran becomes more aggressive and hostile towards the west, and now the east, including stopping all US ships from the entry to the oil shipping lanes. ( among others.) Iran wishes to create a war, on her terms and in her own back yard. Partly due to the 'mixed' messages that Obama initiated by insulting Israel and making demands he's had to apologize for, now being labeled, "screw ups." Iran believes that the strain on US Israeli relationships by Obama's faux pas of perceived weakness, further justifys their aggression and continuing flaunting of the wishes of the majority of their immediate neighbors as well as Europe, and America, and the supreme powers uniting to boycott and sanction them. Iran is emboldened by Obama's clumsy actions of insults and 'demands of Israel towards our greatest M.E. ally., that Obama has now flipped flopped over. What a message! Iran is determined to undermine Israel, and the USA, and the rest to become the 'world leading power'. What would have happened had Obama been made realistic and polite to Israel and, instead of the public humiliation he showed towards Israel as the Saudi Peace Plan's messenger boy?( the damned thing was DOA years ago, it must stink to high heaven by now) We'll never know. However, we will remember and, the voters and Israel know now that, Obama can't be trusted. He seems resigned to the fact that he indeed, may be a one term prez. Hell, he flip flops more than a shark on board.

Why we don't know how to pick our leaders

Our craving for ideology means that we are partial to ideological leaders. But we need leaders who will make smart decisions that are aligned with the public interest.
