It seems such a missed opportunity. Just imagine for a bit Netanyahu opening a huge exhibition that celebrated Arab history, art and architecture in Israel and all the leaders of the Jewish state turning up to the opening and invtiting Israeli Arabs etc. It would make a huge statement about Israel's desire to be accepted into the Middle East as an active part of it, not just something imposed on it. The reverse, of course, is also true. Like the guy tryingto re-open the synagogue in Tripoli, it would be great to see Jews living in Arab countries again.
