I can understand that some of the authors don't like Israel's policies and are willing to protest against them. That's fine. The same 13 authors didn't boycott authors from other Middle Eastern countries. Now, this is really disturbing. It looks like those people are perfectly OK with oppression of woman rights, torture, mutilations, and lack of freedom of speech, just to name a few, policies of other countries in the Middle East. There is no other explanation as to why there should be boycott on Israel and not on other countries. Oh, sorry there is one more explanation... It's a very old one called Anti-Semitism.
