If that argument was genuine then the Palestinians could easily get around it i.e. they need only tell the USA that its services as the "impartial mediator" was no longer required and would no longer be tolerated, and then Abbas is free to put that resolution up for another vote. Then the USA will have no reason to veto it, and the resolution would pass 15-0. That's *IF* the excuses given by the Obama Administration is the honest reason but, of course, nodoby believes that for a second.....
