The conventional logic is that instability on your borders is a bad thing, but, in the case of Israel, I don't see how things could actually get any more unstable (knock on wood). All I know, is, anytime guns that used to be pointed at you get redirected to some other target, it's a good thing, at least in the immediate sense. So, not to celebrate violence in any way, but I can't help but feel relief that Hamas and Fateh are shooting each other up instead of Israelis for once. Simple as that, really. Now as for the long term....who knows.
