Only a country that is totally suicidal and has no concern for its citizenry would abdicate its responsibility to assure that its back yard was not filling up with those determined to destroy it. Unfortunately, we have seen repeatedly promises of peace and "hudna" which are immediately ignored. There is a difference between reactive and proactive operations. Those who seek to destroy Israel--Jihadists, Hamas, Hezbollah, and their associated minions--according to Khaled can do whatever they desire since they are "liberators". If peace is the true goal, give it a chance to work and stop shooting those "harmless" Quassam rockets. If peace is the true goal, give it a chance to work and stop sending out suicide bombers to blow up and kill innocent civilians. Until the Palestinians truly desire PEACE, Israel must oversee who comes in and out of her back yard. When the Palestinian radicals realize that Israel will not settle for the PIECE plan that enables them to cut Israel into pieces and run the Jews into the ocean, then and only then should they get full control of their borders. Until then, Khaled and his ilk are unwelcome guests.
