Where to start? First off, the ridiculous statements that Hezbollah and Syria don't attack Israel with missles because they are frightened. By the author's same "logic", it could be said that Israel doesn't bombard Hezbollah and Syria because it too is frightened of the response. Face it Israel, the attacks against you by forces that resist the internationally condemned occupation will continue until there is a bonafide two state solution. The Palestinians are not going away, as Herzl wished, and you can't kill them all. The Israeli politicians consider the price to be paid by Israeli civilians of missle attacks, the inevitable suicide bombings, and the state of constant warfare with its neighbors is worth it for the sake of creeping annexaction of the Occupied Territories. If Israeli citizens also think that is a fair price to pay, at least frame the issue that way and put it to a vote.
