Sarid has made a good case against Avineri - that not all Ministers influence policy. However, he made no case at all for Opposition parties influencing policy from the back-benches. The solution? I don't have one - only the hope that after all,the 'left-centre' bloc will be too large to ignore, or at least that Bibi will prefer Livni and Lapid to Bennet.
