Yes, it's inexcusable that at least five people have been killed. Sure, people have a right to be indignant. But where was the outrage in the past few weeks over the deaths of innocent Palestinians from Israeli air attacks in Gaza? Back when racism was institutionalised here in Australia they had a rule in the newspapers: "One dead Australian equals ten dead Englishmen equals a thousand dead Chinamen". Seems the same thing occurs in Israel. Let me reiterate that I condemn this attack just as much as the next person - it's going to do nothing for the Palestinian cause. But equally, killing innocent Palestinians from the air is doing nothing for Israel's cause. Where was the outrage over their deaths?
