Of course we all know that Jews, much like Ca'anites, much like Assyrians, much Egyptians, inhabited that particular region of the world for various portions of history. The Jewish people under the brutal repression of the Romans pretty much decided to leave. They then seem to expect a welcome mat when they return several centuries later. I don't think the Palestinians will buckle under their brutal oppression and the stealth of their homes, land and farms.
