despite the impressive pallet of verbal expression and thought this man has, he himself is too shortsided of what brought all of this about in 60 years. He says things like "I do not believe it should be allowed to spill over into other spheres like religion and culture".. And this is a blatant disregard to the origins of the conflict itself. It's casually saying "look, my forefathers in 1948 hated the smell of Jew blood, they hated the smell of it even more in 1967, but now that you guys have all the guns, the evolved society and we know we can't just push you into the sea, let's just forget about it and see eachother as equals ok?" Israeli's DO see Palestinians as equals, they just all happen to be holding Jordanian passports.. This man is smart, but he isn't realistic about the history of the people he's no characterizing as "moderate Jew loving Palestinians". I would believe him more if I heard it from at least 10 Palestinians on the street, not one in his position...
