Foxman's idea fails on the rather obvious fact that the last time there was peace in Muddle East was a 40-years-stretch sometime between 1050 and 950 BC--we'll take it as 980-940 BC for argument--specifically, the reign of Solomon. Even "pax-Macedonicus" and "pax-Romana" forced by tyranny of Macedonian and Roman Empires was not really peaceful (there were rebellions against both empires), and Muddle East has NEVER been peaceful since 70 AD--and especially not since Mohamed's bucket-kicking (around 630 AD), since Islam is a religion nearly devoid of peace!
