This same philosophy worked well for Israel against the unarmed Palestinian civilians during the Gaza op, not so well against well organized Hizbollah in the 2006 war. The lesson is that, if Israel's opponents are even crudely armed, Israel must have a semblance of an intelligent plan. Israeli operations are normally either over planned or under planned.
