What on earth can Husam Zomlot or any other Palestinian negotiator negotiate if half his country-about-to-be is an Iranian terrorist proxy ministate explicitly bent on murdering every Israeli, explicitly unwilling to recognize the right of the Jewish people to its own state, and explicitly saying they want every inch of the "occupation" (Israel) or the "zionist entity"? Are UN diplomats imbeciles? Has the world gone mad? The Quartet has clearly stated: Hamas must renounce terrorism, recognize Israel's right to exist as the Jewish state, and abide by agreements. It can't deliver any one of these three basic demands.
