"According to military sources, Israel has fired about 8,000 shells since the disengagement, killing and sowing fear and destruction in response to the firing of 545 Qassams and mortars, only 174 of which were identified as "definite landings" and which did not kill anyone. This lack of proportionality must stop immediately, and Peretz should give the directive." This is Gideon Levy! Shall we wait till a kassam strikes a crowded school killing tens of children and only then fire on the launching sites?! Doesn't that fool know that IDF holds the fire if no kassams are being launched on Israel?! What is asked from Peretz is to stop the waste of artillery shells by bombarding sand dunes. Instead, it's just about time to hit directly the houses of the government members and the camps of the security forces.
