Israel only started building in the West Bank when the Arabs made it perfectly clear that they would continue to wage war on Israel. How many settlements were there in 1967?...ZERO. What else could Israel do at the time? Jordan controlled East Jerusalem. Not the Palestinians. In fact the Palestinians have never controlled Jerusalem, in all of history. For 300 years they sat quietly by as the Turks ruled the land and taxed the people. Same with Jordan. The West Bank is part of the historical land of Israel. Israel has a strong claim to it. If you are only fed the Arab narrative, then your comments make sense. Start using your own minds, find out about Jewish history. Start reading up on Jewish history. Occupation usually applies to a foreign people in a foreign land. The West Bank is part of historic lands of the Jews. Read the Bible. Read the Torah. The Dead Sea Scrolls will be soon be made available to read on the net. These are over 2,000 years old. Find me another document that can compare to this that justifies Palestinian claims.
