In Wiesel’s uncensored Hebrew 'Night' manuscript, unveiled here for the first time, the author expresses desire to take revenge on the Hungarians, lashes out at fellow Jews and describes sexual scenes from the train to Auschwitz.03:47 01.05.16 | 5 comments
Upon meeting with reporters after Mr. Wiesel had lunch with President Obama, he stated that the President listened to him about his concerns focusing on Jerusalem before peace talks begin but nowhere did he mention to postpone once again the core issue of Jerusalem from the final status agreement. Even according to the Road Map it is the third item on the peace proposal. Mr. Wiesel further stated that the issue of sovereignty is important to both the Israelis and the Palestinians. Gideon Levy didn't mention this item. Mr. Wiesel doesn't seem to have a definitive solution for the Obama administration on the matter of Jerusalem and he's not privy to the Israeli Government's foreign policy stance vis a vis the peace talks.
