Implementing a two state solution may not require removal of a lot of settlers. Besides the ones that can be addressed by land swaps, consider that some settlers might simply end up as citizens of a Palastinian state. An ineffectual PA couldn't protect Jewish citizens of the West Bank, but if Fayyad can build a security appartus that is up to the job, then that's another story. Consider if Fayyad could sufficiently protect Levinger's crew in Hebron so that they could remain unmolested. Ultimately, creating a two state solution means Jews can drive to the West Bank for lunch, Palastinians can visit family near Nazareth, and the separation barrier can be removed. We need to build a world that is safe for gambling casinos in Jericho.
