A national identity requires no ''secular culture''. According to the Canadian constitution, Canada is a ''multicultural nation'' (not a multinational state). As for the fact that Israel belongs to the world Jewry, it doesn't mean that it cannot belong to all its citizens at the same time. Finland belongs both to the Finnish diaspora and to the members of the Swedish minority of the country as well. There is no reason to be single-minded like Shlomo Sand and set a straw man do deny the Jews their right to self-determination. By the way, would you accept a one-state solution with a Jewish minority? I don't think so. Then stop using fallacious arguments to advocate the destruction of Israel. Yalla!
