The Israeli authorities have a right to deny entry to people that have a potential cause to create trouble in the country. This happens at every airport I have every flown into. You always see young people being led away for extra questioning and yes spending several hours waiting. Most cases the youngsters are allowed access, but many are denied and are sent back to the country of origin. This happens at every country border and Israel has full right to decide who they want in and who they choose not to have in. I get questioned every time I enter Israel; you never know who is planning what. It’s their right to self defense. And if you don’t like it don’t go.
