It appears that the basis of Im Tirtzu' protest is that Israeli professors, at BGU and other Israeli univiersitites , have made strong statements as well as publishing articles advocating that people boycott Israeli universities and other economic entitites. Since these far-left professors have even appeared at anti-Israeli meetings, both in Israel and abroad, attacking Israel, it seems very appropriate to turn tables on them and start forming groups to have these anti-Israeli professors removed from the universitites. They are not using their positions for academic pursuits but rather as platform to try and brain wash students to be against Zionism.
