when they do not fit the preconcieved political views will not help in the search for peace. Lets thus face them: 1) Israel showed a great deal of willingness to confront internal presures to keep the lands aquired in the 67 war: Barak offered the palestinians a state with 97% of the landqas they calimed including most of E Jerusalem ane d even the temple mound.. and what did it get in return? a terror campain with no precedence! 2) Israel confronted great internal preasures and unilaterally withdrew from Gaza, and what did it receive in treturn: a barage of Rocket attacks from that same territory and kiddnaping incursions of its citizens launched from Gaza! 3) The PA commiteed itself to dismanlet ettror infrastructue, docens of times, results? Zero! 4) Evenb if agreements are reached, the Palestinians, we now know, can simply change the government and the new one feel absolutelly no obligation to keep the agreements! So wha is the point to negotiate ?
